The Best 6 Creative and Funny Axe Apollo Commercials Ever {9:16}

The Best 6 Creative and Funny '"Nothing Beats an Astronaut" Axe Apollo Commercials Ever Unilever is running a television advertising campaign featuring astronauts, a lifeguard and a fireman, promoting Axe and Lynx Apollo. "Lifeguard", aired during the 2013 Super Bowl, shows a woman (Shané Van Der Westhuizen) being rescued from a shark by a heroic lifeguard. The chemistry borne of heroism is totally lost when an astronaut in his suit wanders down the beach. The same scenario is played in an earlier commercial in which the heroic fireman rescues his damsel from a burning building. "Nothing beats an astronaut". The campaign is linked with a contest to win a trip into space hosted by A·A·S·A: AXE Apollo Space Academy, online at axeapollo.com and lynxapollo.com. "Leave a man. Come back a hero".
Axe (also known as Lynx in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and People's Republic of China) is a brand of male grooming products, owned by the British–Dutch company Unilever and marketed towards the young male demographic.
Axe initiated a marketing campaign whereby the company would select people in a worldwide contest to become astronauts who would fly sub-orbital space missions aboard the XCOR Lynx spaceplane. On December 5, 2013, Axe announced the 23 space cadets who had won the extensive training competition held at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The winners were from 23 different countries, some which had never been an astronaut before. The suborbital rides may to take place after the as yet unbuilt Lynx rocket has passed flight test objectives.
