LBJ: The 36th President of the United States [23:22]
Veröffentlicht am 02.05.2012
Growing up in the beautiful but rugged Texas Hill Country helped form the man and the politician Lyndon Johnson would become. He learned about hard economic times, the value of education, and got his first taste of politics. In this biographical video, you will learn about the Johnson family, the political journey of LBJ, and his whirlwind romance with Claudia Alta "Lady Bird" Taylor.
As President, LBJ championed education, civil rights, the environment, the space program, and social programs -- all while grappling with an escalating war in Vietnam. In 1968, LBJ decided not to run for re-election, retiring to Texas. Lyndon Johnson died in 1973, two years after the opening of the LBJ Library.

Enjoy this GREAT SONG from Woodstock era !
PEACE&LOVE !!!
Lyrics :
-I'm going up the country, babe don't you wanna go
-I'm going up the country, babe don't you wanna go
-I'm going to some place where I've never been before
-I'm going, I'm going where the water tastes like wine
-Well I'm going where the water tastes like wine
-We can jump in the water, stay drunk all the time
-I'm gonna leave this city, got to get away
-I'm gonna leave this city, got to get away
-All this fussing and fighting, man, you know I sure can't stay
-Now baby, pack your leaving trunk, you know we've got to leave today
-Just exactly where we're going I cannot say, but
-We might even leave the USA
-'Cause there's a brand new game that I want to play
-No use of you running, or screaming and crying
-'Cause you've got a home as long as I've got mine
btw I've never made this video
