ARTE zeigt den Dokumentarfilm "The Rolling Stones - Crossfire Hurricane" mit unveröffentlichten Konzert- und Interview-Ausschnitten. Die Filmerzählung stammt von dem Regisseur Brett Morgen und hatte ihre Weltpremiere auf dem London Film Festival 2012. Der Film entstand 2012 anlässlich des 50-jährigen Bestehens der Rock-Band und enthält altes Foto- und aktuelles Ton-Material.

"Crossfire Hurricane", directed by Brett Morgen, is released as part of the ongoing 50th anniversary celebrations of The Rolling Stones. The Rolling Stones brought a Crossfire Hurricane to London's Leicester Square on Thursday 18th October 2012, when they attended the premiere their new documentary, celebrating their 50 years as the Greatest Rock 'N' Roll Band in the World.
